In recent months we have been enduring record droughts, floods, cold and heat. There have been natural disasters such as tornadoes and earthquakes that have not only been devastating, but occurring in places never seen before. We are even experiencing uncertainties in world economics and having conflicts in every region of the globe. The nation’s governments are powerless and clueless in their quest to come up with solutions. Because man have no answers himself, he looks everywhere and to everything but to the Holy Scriptures for answers. The author shows how this search for answers in these uncertain times will lead man to accept anyone including the one that the Bible calls the Anti-Christ, the man of sin. This is the question to you, could these uncertain times be a prelude to the event known to Christians as the “Second Coming of Christ”? Jesus said no man knows the day nor the hour when the Son of Man shall come. But Jesus, the Prophets and Apostles did share with us some insight into the times called the “Last Days”. They spoke of prophecies that would be fulfilled and signs that would be present to announce the “Last Days”. Are we experiencing those times now? The author also uses various scriptures that point to the “Last Days” to try and at least initiate a conversation about the times that we are experiencing. With each day that passes and each discovery or news event, they are all point to that blessed event, when Christ shall come for His Church. For the Church this is a time for rejoicing and rededication to what we were saved to do. But for those who do not know Christ as Savior, it is a time to take a spiritual inventory of your life to see if you are in the faith. Because of the recent predictions of false prophets, men are beginning to scoff at and doubt the “Coming of Christ. Even though there are those that scoff at the idea of the world as we know it coming to an end, but it is going to happen, whether we choose to believe it or not. The signs that the Bible spoke of are here with us, but they will only benefit those who take notice and come to GOD, our only protection.

I. Charles Williams is the Senior Pastor of Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia. He and his wife Chelsie a retired school teacher have been married for 28 years. They reside with their children in Newport News, Virginia. He is a member of the Coalition of Ministers for the Hampton Virginia area. He is also a Bi-Vocational Pastor and has been employed by the Williamsburg James City County School System for the past 15 years. His original home is Bay City, Texas and has been a resident of Virginia for the past 21 years. He is also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
